3-29-11 Sally Hansen Insta Dry nail polish (Emma)

Hey girls, ah it feels good to be back here and i am really sorry for not posting in a while spring break was a lot of fun though! I am doing a post today because i got this new nail polish at CVS pharmacy and i think the product it self is new (that's what i think they might have been selling them for forever, anyway for the first thing when they say "insta-dry" they mean it! if it doesn't dry in less than 30 seconds they claim that there is something wrong with it! That's CRAZY!!!I got the color "snappy sorbet" and it looked like this really pretty coral pink, orange type of color that would look great at the beach and summer, but it turned out to be a super bright like neon orange color it is a good thing i like bright colors! HAHA! So if you don't like super fast drying nail poshes then you probably wouldn't want to get Insta-dry, but i absolutely love both of those especially together! Let your beauty shine!

3-26-11: HAUL! (Elizabeth)

Hey girls!! So i just went shopping with my mom and got soooo much! We first went to Marshalls and I got a thing from ELF which has three eyeshadows, and eyeliner, a mascara, fake lashes, and an eye shadow brush! Im super excited about it! And then we went to Bath and Body Works and I got one big Sweet Pea hand sanitizer and two little ones! They smell amazing! It is my favorite scent! Haha! And THEN we went to Pet Smart and got some treats for my puppy, Willie! It was such a fun day! I cant wait to use my elf!! I will do a review on it soon! 3-23-11 does it work? (Emma)

Hey girls, I have a big question to ask all of you guys! So I went to go to CVS Pharmacy in need of a good  face cleanser and got the new L'oreal go clean 360 it is for fragile skin types which is for me! So I have just one big question, does it work? I will tell you guys what I think of it when like a month or so has past! I just want to know just if it is worth my time spending on it, so maybe if like your friend has tried it and loved it then just leave your response below and tell me what you think about it! thanks for your help! 3-18-11 My Everyday Hair Routine (Emma)

Hey girls, so today I will do my everyday hair routine! I swich it up sometimes, but I will just do what I have bean doing this past month!

Night:

1. First I like to take a shower (duh) my shampoo and conditionar i have been loving is the Tresseme shampoo and conditionar it is just basic it doesn't give body! just is very moisturizing! ( i don't use anything that really gives my hair body because I already have very thick hair)
2. Then after I have washed my conditionar out I just shampoo my hair again, but instead of using my normal shampoo i use Aussie deeep conditionar this is a drugstore brand, but anyways i just leave that in my hair for about 3:00!
3. While that is in my hair just to waist time i will usually wash my face or even wash my body!
4. When I get out of the shower i go in with my Suave kids detangler spray i know this seems kind of wierd, but it makes my hair really soft and shiny!

Morning:

1. So when i wake up my hair is usually dry so then i put some more of the detangler spray and brush my hair 1 hundred times   (this makes my hair feel so soft no joke try it)
2. Then i spray some of my Treseme heat protectant (you can get it at a drugstore)
3. Then i straghten my hair my hair is naturally curly but i like it when it is straight! I use the Hot Tools Ceramic straightener it is not the best but gets the job done!
4. Then I finish it off with some Hairspray I use a lot of different ones and swich them around!

3-17-11: Everday Hair Routine (Elizabeth)

Hey girls! So I know I was supposed to do a spring break blog, but there was just too much to type! I have done sooo much! So today I though that I would do an everyday hair routine! I'm not sure what I will do on Saturday because I was supposed to do an everyday hair routine but I'm doing that today! So when i think of something I will be sure to post something so don't worry! Let's get started!

The first thing I do is shampoo and condition my hair. I actually use two shampoos. I do this because I have NO vo.ume i n my hair. Anyways, I use Tressme's Volumizing Shampoo and Conditioner. I also use Garnier Fructise's Body Boost Shampoo and Conditioner.

    Once I get out of the shower, I wrap my hair up in a towel for about ten to twenty minutes. After the twenty minutes are up, I blow dry it. But before i start blow drying it, I put some of Pantene's Volumizing Gel at the roots and bring it down to the ends. Then I spray some of Tresseme's Heat Tamer Spray. Then I start blowdrying.

   After my hair is completely dry I go to sleep. When I wake up I straighten my hair. But before that, I spray some of my heat protectant spray again. Then I straighten it. I use an Elements 5 hair straightener.
 
  After i straighten my hair, I tease my hair at the roots just to add that extra volume!

  I hope everyone enjoyed this! It really only takes me about ten minutes to blowdry my hair and about five to seven minutes to straighten it. Let your beauty shine!

3-16-11: Update on my life (Emma)

I know I was supposed to do an everyday skincare routine, but then I realized that I basically just wash my face and I'm done. So I decided to do an update on my life!
This week has gone by really slow for me. I can't wait to be done with it and move on to spring break!!! Tomorrow at my school, we are presenting a project that we have been working on for like two months! I can't wait to end it! Oh!  I planted these little seeds which are going to be forgetmenots.They are these cute little blue flowers that I think will look amazing especially in the spring! Anyway, they are about five inches tall and I put them in my bathroom because that is where I get the most light! So yeah if u really want me to do my everyday skincare routine then comment below! 3-15-11: Everyday Makeup Routine(Elizabeth)

Hey girls! So today I'm going to share my everyday makeup routine with you! I hope you enjoy! BTW I am on spring break at the moment so sorry if my posts are not on time.

Face:
*Before i do ANY makeup I apply a moisturizer to my face. You should ALWAYS do this before applying any makeup to the face!
*Next,I apply Clinique's Super City Block. This is just a tinted moisturizer that will give me not too much coverage bu engough to get through the day!

Eyes:
* Apply an eye cream. I use Neostrata's Depuffing Eye Cream.
*Prime your eyelids. I use Jesse's Girl Eye Shadow Primer.
*Then apply a shimmery light brown color to the lid.
*Next, apply a darker shimmery brown to the crease. Try not to make this so harsh. We are going to school.
*Nest, apply a champagne color as a highlight.
*Blend
*After that, I curl my lashes
*And the last thing i do is aply a clear or brown mascara. I like to stay very neutral for school!
Cheeks:
*I dont apply any blush to my face but if you would like to apply a light peachy color that would look great!

Lips:
*Apple a coral pink colored lipstick. I use Clinique's Precious Pink.
*Then apply a pink or clear lipgloss. I use Clinique's Air Kiss.
*Smile pretty!

3-14-11: My Everyday Makeup Routine (Emma)

Hey girls! So first of all I want to say, Elizabeth that is super funny! So as you can already probably tell by the title above this is going to be my every day makeup routine. It is very basic, very simple, and very nude! I don't wear that much makeup to school, I just wear it to cover up some embarrassing shine or pimples!

1. First, I start of by moisturizing my face I use Cetephil Moisutrizing Lotion. I moisturize my face always before applying any makeup.
2. Next, I take my Clinique Super City block in SPF 25. This just is a tinted moisturizer that Elizabeth and I both use! Just like concealer!
3. After that step, I just take my Benefit Powder in 02. This is a lightly tinted powder that i just started using so I will do a review soon! 
4. For blush I take Clinique Rich Nude. It is a red blush with little splotches of tan. It is great for everyday wear!
5. For lips I take my favorite lipgloss in the whole world which is Guava Splash by Wetslicks Fruit Spritzers by Cover Girl!
6. Over that I just add a little bit of Ulta super shiny lip gloss in Princess. it is a super glittery, light, baby pink and just adds a little bit of glam to my lips!

3-13-11: BAD NEWS!!!!(Elizabeth)

Hey girls! Unfortunately, I have some bad news. Hopefully you have seen our review on EOS Lip Balm and if you havnt go check it out!
Anyways, my puppy,Willie, came in my room and took it while I wasn't watching. I found it about thirty minutes ago and it was completely gone! He ate it all! Yes, Willie is okay. He is actualy sitting with me as I'm typing this. I'm just so sad because it is my favorite chapstick ever! Luckily, my spring break starts tomorrow so I can probably find some in the airport. Im gonna hide this one from Willie this time!

3-13-11: TUTORIAL-Selena Gomez "Who Says" makeup tutorial

Do you want to have a sweet girl look like Selena Gomez? If so then keep reading!


In this video, Selena has a very clean, flawless looking face. This is a great makeup tutorial for teenagers!


Face:

• Apply any moisturizer to your face. (Always do this before putting on any makeup!)
• Then apply a tinted moisturizer or light foundation. Not too much though. Just so it still looks natural and fresh
•  Use a powder close to the color of the tinted moisturizer/foundation to make your face look more matte.

Eyes:

• Prime your eyelids. This will make the colors last longer and be more vibrant. This is optional, however.
• Apply a frosted white/gold color to your inner two thirds of the lid.
• Drag the frosted white color down below your lower lash line and in your tear duct.
• Apply a light, choclate brown color to the outer third and drag a little in to the crease, giving it a little bit of drama but still having that fun happy effect:)

Cheeks:

• Apply a very nude, peachy pearl color to the apples of your cheeks

Lips:

• Apply a light coral, peachy lipstick all over your lips. 
• Then add a baby pink gloss over it. Ulta's Super Shiney Lip Gloss in Princess works very well.

Then throw on a loose shirt, jean shorts, and white tennis shoes and you are ready to go! Let your beauty shine!

3.13.11: REVIEW- EOS Lip Balm

From the first sight of these little colorful eggs i fell in love with them they are adorable in every way! This lip balm is like no other they just got popular i think! First of all they would be a great present for easter, because they are colorful and shaped like little easter eggs, so if you really want to find a cute creative holiday gift to give anyone but still not to expensive this would be my first pick no matter what thier age! these are the names there is summer fruit (red/pink the one in the middle), honeysuckle honeydew ( light green the one on the left), medicated tangerine (orange color it's not up there), lemon drop (you can sort of get the color from the name, but it is just a yellow color), and lastly sweet mint (right side and a minty green color) the EOS website-http://evolutionofsmooth.com/products_lip_sphere_hon.html

I hope you find these products as amazing as i did they really work and make your lips feel and look smoother in just one day

3-13-11: REVIEW- Cover Girl's Wet Slicks Fruit Spritzers

     Do you want a lip gloss that isn't too flashy and dewy, but still has just the right amount of sparkles? Then you should try Cover Girl's Wet Slicks Fruit Spritzers! They are so easy to just throw in your purse and run out the door. They also taste delicious!
   They are not the most pigmented lip glosses in the world but thats what we like that about them. That makes them wearable for people in the teen range. Our favorite color is Guava Splash. It is a gorgeous, light baby pink. Another that we like is Raspberry Splash. It still isn't that pigmented but just has a little bit more of a hot pinky, red glow! Although we have a great passion, we don't get all the high-end makeup. We like to shop at our local drugstores and occasionally Ulta, Clinique, and Sephora. We do this because when we started watching beauty related videos, we didn't have all the Mac products that the gurus used. We just had to find dupes. So to make our drugstore customers satisfied, we are going to use cheeper makeup.
     Our tutorials are first just going to start out as blogs but if we get enough viewers, we will start to make videos hopefully. But until then, we are just going to settle with the text.
